Fatal Attraction at The Alexandra from Tue 1 March to Sat 5 March

 Fatal Attraction at The Alexandra

Tue 1 March to Sat 5 March.

Last night saw the Opening night of Fatal Attraction by James Dearden, based on the Paramount Pictures Corporation Motion Pictures, live at the Alexandra Birmingham.

The intoxicating new stage play of Fatal Attraction, brings the movie thriller to the UK stage. Starring British pop and TV sensation Kym Marsh as the iconic Alex Forrest, soap star favourite Oliver Farnworth as Dan Gallagher and Footballer’s Wives siren Susie Amy, as Beth Gallagher. The three of them are so talented up on that stage. They were are captivating.

When happily married New York attorney Dan Gallagher, meets charming editor Alex on a night out in the city, they both commit to a night of passion that they can’t take back. Dan returns home to his family and tries to forget the mistake he has made, but Alex has different ideas. Dan’s about to discover that love is a dangerous game, and Alex has only one rule; you play fair with her, and she’ll play fair with you. It's a pretty intense show but it's awesome.

Please be warned that this production features adult language, scenes of violence, partial nudity and scenes of self harm. It's tastefully done but could still be distressing.

Kym Marsh was brilliant, she played Alex so well and really stole the show for me. You really felt her pain and believed every word she said. She oozes sex appeal, charm and charisma in every single scene. This is her final week of playing Alex as the role changed on March 8th so this is your last chance to see her if you want to. This show was so good, I enjoyed it.

The whole staging of this play was fantastic, you get to really see inside their lives and follow them as their story unravels. There's lots of surprises and some shocking scenes too which even I didn't see coming. I loved how this play wasn't afraid to show real life passion between the characters. The bedroom scenes were pretty racey but so cleverly done. It was intense.

My husband and I had a great time last night and would definitely recommend this play to you if you like a good thriller as it's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat all night long.
