Steril-eeze - Alcohol Free Hand Sanitiser #Review

Steril-eeze -  Alcohol Free Hand Sanitiser

Steril-eeze has a brand new hand sanitiser that is alcohol free but is just as effective as an alcohol based hand sanitiser at removing unwanted nasties from our skin. It’s gentler than other products you may have tried, and the perfect option for families with young children or those with sensitive skin like us. It’s quick to dry and can be used on surfaces and hands.

If you're like me, then you probably heard the alcohol free part and instantly thought, well that won't kill a virus, but on this occasion, I'm happy to say that I was wrong, and it actually will. Whilst it is alcohol free, it contains hypochlorous and has the power to Kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. It's Non irritating and non sting making it kind to hands and sensitive skin.

Steril-eeze is an easy to apply, quick drying spray sanitiser that leaves no sticky residue and it doesn't smell like most others do either. It's ideal for all the big and little hands in your family and I love that it comes in three different sized bottles making it the perfect sanitiser for all different purposes. Because it's scientifically proven to kill viruses and bacteria on hands and surfaces, I've placed my large 250ml bottle in my kitchen to help protect my surfaces.

The 50ml small bottle is the perfect handbag sized bottle to keep with you on the go which is exactly where I'll be keeping mine, in my handbag. It's the perfect size for taking with me wherever I go, to the supermarket, the school runs and even to the play time in the parks.

I love that it's a quick spray bottle so there's no fuss and no mess. Just instant protection.

Steril-eeze is a real multi purpose sanitiser as it's not just for your hands but also can be used to sanitise surfaces inside and outside of your home including worktops and surfaces, car interiors, keys, phones, tablet screens, shopping trolley handles and children’s toys.

It's available to buy now in Morrisons and online at Amazon

My Little Christmas Gift Guide 2020

My Little Christmas Gift Guide 2020

Christmas is finally on it's way and with Just 39 Day to Go, I am Excited!

I love the build up to Christmas, more than the actual day itself these days, as it's the fun of choosing the gifts for all your loved ones that really brings out my Christmas Spirit. I've had lots of extra time on my hands this year due to being at home for an extra few weeks so I've tried to put it to good use by trawling the internet to find you the best of the best gifts.

My children haven't asked for any toys this year as they're getting too old to play with toys now, or so I am told so I haven't included any toys in this Gift Guide. Sorry about that, but there's lots of other gifts for older children and adults that you may find yourself interested in.

You may notice I've added a few baby gifts into my gift guide this year, and no I'm not pregnant. It's simply because I'm so excited about my first baby grandson who should be joining us just in time for Christmas Day this year, he's due on the 19th December.

My first Gift is the gorgeous Baby Boys Hamper - Large from the Baby Hamper Company.

It costs £40 and comes beautifully gift wrapped, all ready to hand over at Christmas. Inside the hamper, there's a beautiful selection of gifts for your newborn. There's a sweet sleepsuit in grey stripes and another bodysuit with a sweet slogan 'Boy oh Boy' blazoned across it. There's a matching newborn grey Knotted Hat and a bicycle print Aden & Anais Muslin square. And last but not least, there's a gorgeous rattling Knitted Octopus in blue stripes.

It's a delightful gift that anyone who's just had a new baby would love.

My second gift is this practical and rather lovely Shnuggle Bath from Kiddies Kingdom

The Shnuggle Bath in White with a Grey Backrest is on offer right now and costs just £21.49. The Shnuggle bath has been carefully crafted to provide a safe and secure place for to bath your baby, making it more comfortable and enjoyable for baby and less stressful for you. It's just what every mum needs, as after having 3 babies myself, bathtimes were my biggest struggle. I wish I'd had something like this when my three were little, it would have helped so much. I love the idea that it can be used anywhere you like or in the bath too.

My third gift also comes from Kiddies Kingdom - the Avent Fast Bottle Warmer

Costing £35, he Philips Avent SCF355 Bottle Warmer, will guarantee a gentle and even warming of bottled milk and baby food. Usually taking about 3 minutes, the SCF355 is simple to use, twist the dial to your chosen setting, there are options for defrosting, small bottles, baby food and big bottles. Because the SCF355 ensures an even distribution of warming you can be confident that your baby's food or milk won't have any "hot spots". All Avent bottles and baby food containers are suitable for use with the SCF355 and included inside the box is a helpful warming guide to help you get the right time every time. Practical and Handy.

My fourth gift is the last baby gift, this Red Christmas Baby Romper from Mother.

Costing £20, it's so lovely and nothing says Christmas more than a festive red romper suit. The picture above has been provided from the Mother website as I couldn't get a sample to show you in time but I didn't want to leave it out of my gift guide as it's just the prettiest little suit. It's available in four different sizes from newborn all the way up to 12 months and can be personalised too. I've ordered one with my grandson's name on it and can't wait to see it.

My fifth gift is one for the gadget lovers, the JAM’s TWS Athlete earbuds.

You can experience true wireless freedom with these JAM’s TWS Athlete earbuds. Offering up to 6 hours of playtime (or 30+ hours when you use the rechargeable case), they’re ideal for getting your sweat on virtually anytime. The ultra flexible ergonomic ear hook design moves with you, so they won’t shake off during an intense workout and make hands free calling even more comfortable and convenient and I have to say, they look pretty awesome too. Costing £49.99 these are one of my more expensive gifts but they are really cool. These are available to buy from the Jam Audio website and Amazon. Defo one for my nephew.

My sixth gift is another one for the gadget lovers - this Joby FreeHold Universal Kit.

The Joby FreeHold Universal Kit is a Multi functional finger loop, phone grip with accessories for your mobile phone. It helps to hold the phone securely and connects the phone to the flexible arms and tripod to give you a more hands free usage. It's perfect for teens like mine who are always trying to balance their phone in different places when taking Tik Tok videos. It cost £26.95 and sticks to most phones and cases which allows you to hang, grip and stand your mobile phone using the flexible leg attachment. It's a bit of a quirky gift but teens will love it. This one's been put away for Santa to bring on Christmas Day for my teen.

My seventh gift is an edible one - a Christmas HARIBO Hamper.

The Haribo Sweets Gift Christmas Hamper Box is currently selling for £15 on Amazon and comes jam packed full of HARIBO treats. Inside the festive box, there's: Haribo Balla Stixx, Haribo Jelly Beans, Haribo Giant Trees, Haribo Chamallows Marshmallows, Haribo Dummies Z!ng and Haribo Squidgy Strawbs. With No artificial colours - Kids and grown-ups love it so!

This one's going to be shared with the whole family.

My eighth gift is something for the car - Lynx Car Air Fresheners from Halfords.

Prices range from £1.99 to £7.99 so these make really great stocking fillers. There's lots of fragrances to choose from and lots of differents styles too which is something I love. We have these in our car and I have to say, they do smell pretty good and last for a good while too.

That's eight little Christmas gift ideas that hopefully will give you some ideas of your own.

Merry Christmas Everyone x

Building with K'NEX - Construction Sets for all ages #Review

Building with K'NEX - Construction Sets for all ages.

Last week we received a rather awesome bundle of K'NEX from Basic Fun UK and have been happily building ever since. We started off small and built our way up, but we're not finished yet as we're actually still building and may be doing so for a short while to come.

The youngest sets aged 3 and over are super cute, bright and chunky, perfect for little builders. The Kid K’Nex Safari Mates from Argos cost just £10 are the perfect introduction for the little ones to the fun world of K'NEX. This building set contains 21 large parts and pieces with bright colours and premium quality and includes special parts and pieces that are only available in Kid K'NEX sets, such as a whipping tail and foam mane, which is so cute.

Ryan's favourite up next, the K'NEX K-Force Battle Bow Building Set from The Entertainer. Currently on sale for just £20, it's a fantastic set for the kids aged 8 years and over like mine. This set included 165 classic pieces to choose from, allowing you can build a variety of four different blasters and target models, one at a time. Included in this building toy are five soft foam darts that can be fired up to 75 feet into the air, a blaster chamber, a quick fit grip, a preload ring and two dart holders. It's a little boys dream toy this one, Ryan loved it.

There's lots of pieces but the parts all go together really easily. I love the way everything connects nice and easy making it actually enjoyable to build with. It took Ryan just over an hour this afternoon to build his Battle Bow but he was super proud of himself when it was done. He's not normally that patient when it comes to construction toys but this one, he liked and stuck with until the end. Once complete, he then had a bow to blast darts all over the house. For now, he's happy keeping it as it is but when he changes his mind, he can take it apart and build a whole new toy which is what I really love about these K,NEX sets.

We saved the biggest set until last as we knew it would take the most time, and we were right, as we started building it a few days ago and are still going..
The K’Nex 70 Model Builder Set from Amazon comes with 705 pieces and 70 different models to build including a hot air balloon, boats, trucks, a sand castle and more, there are plenty of ways for children to grow and develop while learning with this kids building set. It's currently priced at £40.76 which is a fantastic price for this big box of never ending fun for children aged 7 and over.

With over 70 different models to make with this set, it took us a while to choose which one we were going to create first. After a lot of deliberation , we decided upon a big truck and set to work but it took us a bit longer than the Battle Bow had. It's currently still under construction right now but I'm sure we'll be able to show you our fully working masterpiece real soon.

Ryan and I love building with K,NEX, it's so much fun.

I love that K,NEX is reasonably priced and there's so many sets to choose from for all ages and all price ranges so there really is something for everyone. The pieces are flexible and durable, brightly coloured and simple to click together, making play less stressful and more fun. Ryan loves that he can build and rebuild as many times as he likes.

Our K'NEX playsets get a huge thumbs up from Ryan and I here.

Disclosure: We received our K'NEX playsets for free in return for an honest review.

Beautiful Baby Gifts from the The Baby Hamper Company #Review

Beautiful Baby Gifts from the The Baby Hamper Company

I'm not sure if I've told you or not, but I'm going to be a Nanny this December. My eldest daughter Chloe is expecting her first baby in just a few weeks time and we're all very excited here. I haven't decided if I'm going to be Nan, Nanny or Granny just yet. There's plenty of baby gift companies online but if you're looking for, not your standard baby gift, then The Baby Hamper Company could be perfect for you. Their website is full of beautiful baby hampers and with prices ranging from £25 up to £100, there's something for every budget.

The Baby Hamper Company hampers arrive beautifully packaged, just look at that gift wrapping. It's gorgeous. I just adored the big red bow. This is my Baby Boys Hamper - Large which contains five lovely goodies that will be perfect for the new little man in your life.

Inside this gorgeous baby hamper you will find -

Knitted Octopus - in blue stripe, this little soft toy is really great at comforting, particularly newborn babies. The feel of the tentacles around them resembles the sensation of the umbilical cord prior to birth. These toys always look great in our boxes when opened!

Aden & Anais Muslin - this is a sheet of cotton fabric, often called a 'muslin' and can be used for a variety of purposes including, burp cloth, pram sheet or breastfeeding cover up. This one is from designer brand Aden and Anais, ours featured a fun bicycle print.

Sleepsuit in grey stripe  - 100% cotton sleepsuit that can be worn at night time or day. Aged 0-3 months, just so it lasts a little longer, and features our grey and white breton stripe.

Hat in grey - to match the sleep suit above and to complete a really cute outfit. Age 0-6 months, so there's plenty of growing room, with a knotted design and pure cotton.

Bodysuit in grey - these can be used as a vest or a summer outfit when the weather is a bit warmer. Age 0-3 months, and features our unique boy oh boy print to the front.

Everything in this Baby Boy's Hamper is absolutely beautiful, I can't wait to give it to my daughter next week. The Boy Oh Boy bodysuit is such a cute suit and the knitted octopus is just delightful. Not only does it look super cute but it also rattles too when you move it around. Chloe's going to love it, I just know it as she doesn't have anything quite like this just yet.

The Baby Boy's Hamper - Large costs £40 making it one of their mid priced hampers.

The Hamper is beautiful and everything is packaged so lovely. They pay close attention to all the little details when wrapping it. The contents are super high quality and just delightful.

We love our Baby Boy's Hamper and would happily recommend the Baby Hamper Company.

Disclosure: We received our baby hamper for free in return for an honest review.

Life as England Locks Down for the Second Time.

Life as England Locks Down for the Second Time.

Today marks the first day of England's second lockdown but it's feeling very different to the first one back in March. My place of work closed its doors last night for the next four weeks, meaning I'm now back on Furlough and staying at home. The kids are still going to school, which I am happy about as their education is important and they really suffered last time being away from their friends for so long. Daddy's still at work as his place of work is remaining open because it's classed as 'essential' unlike mine, so for now, it's just me, sitting at home all by myself. It's a very odd situation but one that I'm sure I will get used to.

After dropping my son to school this morning, I walked up to the my local high street to grab a few fridge items and some bread and was actually quite shocked to see how busy it still was. All the coffee shops and cafes and baguette shops were still open, allowing customers inside to order, wait and then take away. It didn't feel like we were in lockdown at all.

People were standing in groups of 3 and more, talking on the street. Mums were meeting up for coffee, just outside instead of inside. People were out shopping as normal. It was strange.

Lockdown isn't going to work if we're not all following the rules as best as we can. I want to be able to spend Christmas with my family. I want to be able to go back to work in December. I want to be able to get our lives back to some kind of normal next year. I want to live again.

I for one will be following the rules of staying at home as best I can for the next four weeks to play my part in this awful situation. If we all do this, we might actually get somewhere.

But for now, we're all safe and well here, which is all that matters.

&

I wish you ALL a safe and healthy November x
