Advent Calendars - Which will You choose this Year?
I know it's only just turned September but Christmas is on it's way whether we're ready for it or not. Normally I would leave all my Christmas shopping until the last minute and buy my gifts early December but then I find myself spending money that I may not have. That's why, this year I've decided, I'm getting more organised and starting much earlier, like now. Because budgeting for Christmas early helps reduce debts in the new year. And I don't want any of those. 2020 has been a tough year for all of us without the extra stress and worry over debts going into next year. 2021 is going to be a new start, and a better year hopefully.
Each year, I buy my children a different style of Advent Calendar to help build up the excitement in December of the big countdown to Christmas. We've had all sorts of calendars over the years, we've had everything from stationery gifts to socks and toy collectibles but this year I'm thinking of opting for a personalised advent calendar, it's back to delicious chocolate treats for us and making it personalised is a great way to stop the arguments over which one belongs to who in our house. Last year my children wrote their names on their calendars with a felt tip pen so this year, they won't need to do that.
My two would love this cute Polar Bear Advent Calendar. It's very attractive to look at and the chocolate treats look very exciting too. It's so cute, I'd even get one for myself too.
Whichever Advent calendar you choose this year, I'm sure it'll be wonderful. There's so many to choose from this year though so it's going to be a tough choice for all of us but chocolate seems to be the way forward for us. We're going back to traditional, simple, yet delicious chocolate treats every day. What Advent Calendar will You be having this year?
