ReplyDeleteworking from home and enjoying it and in particular I no longer have a 3-4hs daily commute and use the time instead to exercise and prepare healthier meals, I have lost a stone since lockdown started and feel so much better.

ReplyDeleteAlthough I never expected to, I'm actually enjoying having my shopping delivered from the supermarket. It's actually saving me money because I'm only getting what I order, I'm not spending extra on little things that I notice as I go around the shop!
ReplyDeleteAs a family we have been enjoying the stars at night. We bought a new telescope at Christmas and we've saw Venus, the Moon and satellites! I'm enjoying all this extra time together as a family.
ReplyDeleteI've joined Audible and I have loved listening to a couple of books, I have also enjoyed relaxing time with my son, making cakes, watching movies and just enjoying this time right now, before life gets hectic again.

ReplyDeleteI am pregnant and working for the nhs from home, very unusual for me, I am having anxious moments and sometimes dark moments but I am trying to appreciate every day for what it is
ReplyDelete..with my 7year old daphne who has some reason picked lockdown as a time to start swearing. We are going for long walks and trying to have a kitchen dance every now and again. Today's highlight was when a crow popped on my face hair and neck....and all I can think about is the tank stuff that crow will have eaten that was then redistributed on my face! Good times:)
I finished the first course of the second year of my degree, and also finished a course not related to my degree!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying family more. Seeing the step children more as thankfully that's allowed and also the small amount of time I get to see my parents from a distance when I'm dropping off their shopping on their doorstep.

ReplyDeleteI'm actually using the time to challenge myself by learning new skills and reading more. I'm one of the rare few I think that are actually enjoying the lock down. I miss my family but it's given me the courage and motivation to try new things.

ReplyDeleteOur home and garden has never had so much love, time and attention spent on them. Its been great to have the luxury of uninterrupted time to spend on them. Read loads of books too as they are great stress busters!
ReplyDeleteWe are a very sporty family and two of my children usually go to a Muay Thai gym 6 days a week so we are now doing daily circuit training, weights and Muay Thai at home.
ReplyDeleteI've been learning yoga through an online course. It's keeping me mentally and physically refreshed each day.

ReplyDeleteWe have done gardening and baking and lots of puzzles and I have hand made birthday cards and gifts for family and friends and I also made a bunch of care packages for my friends with silly cards I drew in them :)
