I enjoyed using their website and enjoyed my shopping experience. Here's what I bought:

For my £50 I bought a total of 9 items. My most expensive item was the fantastic Star Wars Hero Mashers Multi pack which cost £25 but that's still just half of the recommended RRP so it was a bargain and my little Star Wars fan is going to love it. The next most expensive item I bought was the Flashlight Friends Unicorn Light Plushie which cost just £7 and looks so lovely and soft. I then picked two Finding Dory Swigglefish toys that were just £4 each and a nice selection of Dreamworks Trolls sets which were just £2 each and are now going to make great little gifts for my daughter's school friends when we need a last minute gift.

Molly Brown London: Birthday Gifts for Girls #Review

Molly Brown London: Birthday Gifts for Girls

As a Mum of two young girls, when looking for jewellery gifts for them, Molly Brown London seemed the perfect choice. Lily will be 11 soon whereas Chloe has not long turned 15. Both my girls love to dress up and are now developing an interest in more 'grown up' styled jewellery. Chloe has several pieces of Silver jewellery that she loves and wears daily. Lily is just starting to want 'proper' pieces to wear. I think she's finally outgrown her costume jewellery. Don't get me wrong, she loves her costume jewellery but she's now wanting some special pieces to wear for the more special occasions like family meals, outings and parties.

When Molly Brown London asked me if I'd like to choose a piece from their Birthday Gifts for Girls section, I was so excited to choose something for Lily that she was sure to love. It was a tough choice as there's so many beautiful bracelets, necklaces and earrings to choose from. Lily doesn't have her ears pierced yet so that I didn't pick her a pair of earrings. After much deliberation, I decided to go for the gorgeous Personalised Hope Open Heart Necklace which was just too pretty to resist. It's a beautiful contemporary sterling silver chain with a cut out heart disc pendant attached which can be engraved with the name or word of your choice. It's a simple yet sophisticated design that can be loved and worn by girls of all ages and treasured forever. It's something that I'd wear myself.

I had the word 'Lily' put on our Personalised Hope Open Heart Necklace and it looks so lovely. I know I made the right choice and can't wait to see her face when she sees it now.

The Personalised Hope Open Heart Necklace costs £42 which I think is such an amazing price for this necklace. Everything is so lovely, from the gift bag, to the pretty pink tissue paper that's inside it. The gorgeous gift box and the pretty tied ribbons. The necklace comes packaged so well and comes wrapped in little bags so that the chain doesn't get tangled on the way. Molly Brown London make their gifts feel very special, their attention to detail is exquisite. It's the kind of gift that's going to make any little girl feel very special and loved when they open it. I haven't given Lily her beautiful gift just yet though as it's going to make her upcoming birthday extra special. I know she's going to love it and can't wait to see her face. The only problem I have is, when Chloe sees it, she's going to want one too. That's not really a problem though as for the price. I'd be happy to buy her one for her birthday too.

I must admit, I'd not heard of Molly Brown London before last week but am so glad that I know them now as their jewellery pieces are all so beautiful and so reasonably priced.

I'm so happy with the necklace, the quality is amazing. The chain is nice and chunky. It's not too thin that it's going to tangle easily when she puts it in the box or breaks easily when she wears it out and about. I'd be scared to let my children wear necklaces that look like they're going to break so I'm really pleased with this one. The necklace is lovely and the pendant is just delightful, engraved with her name at the bottom. I know she's going to love it just as much as I do. She's always trying to 'borrow' my jewellery so I know if I love it, she will too!

Disclosure: I received my Molly Brown London necklace in return for an honest review.

Chad Valley Be U Hair Beader and Braider Set #Review

Chad Valley Be U Hair Beader and Braider Set

It's been a sad week for us as we played with our final box of Chad Valley Play Panel toys.

It's been such a pleasure being apart of this lovely group for the second year running and so much fun, the kids have had a blast. We've grown up playing with Chad Valley toys and will continue to do so no matter how old we get. Out of our toys this month, we wanted to talk about the Chad Valley Be U Hair Beader and Braider Set which Lily, who's 10, has been testing out. It retails at £19.99 and is suitable for children aged 5 years and over as there are lots of small beads. It all comes in quite a large box which is very appealing to children and includes a beading machine, a hair braider, 2 boxes of beads, two clips and a comb.

The Chad Valley Be U Hair Beader and Braider Set looked very good at first glance but we did find it a little tricky to use. Lily isn't very good at doing her own hair yet so she did struggle on her own. The hair braider seemed to twist her hair rather than braid it but we did try it a few times to check. It could be that we were doing it wrong but we did try to follow the instructions that were included. The hair beader was much easier to use and actually quite fun too as the simple tool made adding lots of pretty beads to your hair really easy to do.

Also included was a hair band, some coloured strips of hair and a ponytail tool which was Lily's favourite thing. She's had her hair in the twisted ponytail style (shown in the bottom picture) every day since we got the set as she loves it so much and it's so easy to do. We have had fun playing with the set to create some fun and pretty hairstyles for Lily but is it something that we'd buy ourselves? I don't think it is but that's only because I don't tend to buy toys that come with beads as they end up all over the house. I'm happy to say that the beads in this set though, comes nice and neat in sealed packs which I don't mind so much.

Lily loves trying out new hairstyles in her hair so she did like this set. Some of the parts are a little tricky for her to use on her own but I'm sure she'll get better in time with practice.

The Be U Hair Beader and Braider Set gets 3/5 score from us here at Mummy Of 3 Diaries.

Want Pizza & Carvery? Well, You Can at The Malt Shovel - Great Barr. #Review

Want Pizza & Carvery? Well, You Can at
The Malt Shovel - Great Barr.

The Malt Shovel reopened last month after an extensive refurbishment, in which it was converted from a Crown Carvery into a Stonehouse Pizza & Carvery. It now serves freshly baked pizzas as well as the traditional carvery and a whole host of other treats and dishes.

Located on the Newton Road in Great Barr, Birmingham. The Malt Shovel is a pretty looking building with a great sized free car park big enough to accommodate everyone visiting. Our first impressions were, how bright and fresh the place looked. It's a large building all painted nicely which looks very inviting. Once inside, it was very busy but it was 1pm on a Saturday afternoon so that's normally the sign of a good pub. Filled with locals of all ages, elderly and young families alike. The place had a really nice atmosphere and everyone was friendly.

We were greeted at the entrance by a lovely member of staff and shown to our table which was situated in the corner next to a small children's play area which was a lovely idea. It had a little table and chairs with some small toys on it and a machine which dispensed prize eggs for a £1. Even though my younger two aren't that young now that they're 7 and 10 but they still had fun playing in it whilst we were all waiting for our meals. It kept them happy.

If you love your Starters, you'll love this place as they do a Pick & Mix Starters option where you can choose any 3 starters from a selection of 13 for £8.49, 4 for £10.99 or 5 for £12.99.

We went for the 5 starters of course as we love to try a little of everything. We opted for some BBQ Glazed Chicken Wings, Crispy Potato Skins with a Sour Cream Dip, Chicken Tikka served on Lettuce, drizzled with Mint Sauce, Onion Rings and a Garlic Bread Pizza.

Everything was delicious and very well cooked. I think we all had our own favourites out of the 5. I loved the Chicken Tikka the best as it was just so succulent whereas Daddy really enjoyed his Onion Rings, he loves Onion Rings! Chloe, my 15 year old loved the BBQ Glazed Chicken Wings and the younger two, Lily and Ryan gobbled down all of the Garlic Bread Pizza which they couldn't get enough of.  All of the Starters were well presented and looked really nice on the plates and everything was very tasty. There was nothing left when we'd finished which is always a good sign. No waste means No complaints from us.

For our Mains we went for a selection of the two main things on offer. Some of us had the Pizza and some had the Carvery so we could enjoy a bot of everything that was on offer.

One of the main things I loved about this place was no matter which one you opted for, you got unlimited salad and sides to go with it. The side included Chips, beans, mushy peas and so much more. I was really impressed, we've never been to a place where you could eat as many chips as you like for such a cheap price. The kids and I were really happy with this.

The salad bar was great, the pasta salad with a drizzle of Thousand Island Sauce was yum!

The Carvery cost £5.79 for adults and £3.99 for children. There was a choice of 3 meats which all looked delicious and then as many sides as you wanted. Chloe and Ryan both went for the Carvery and really enjoyed it. The Gammon was a huge hit with both of them.

The Pizzas were amazing, I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza whilst daddy had the Meat Feast with added Pineapple as you can do that for an extra 50p. You can add toppings or take off anything you don't like to make your Pizza, perfect for you. The adult pizzas cost £7.79 upwards depending on which one you choose and the children's Margarita costs £4.49.

Both were fantastic. I loved my BBQ Chicken Pizza, the sauce was rich and sweet and the best part was, when I didn't finish it all, they gave me a box to take the rest home for later.

Last but not least was the Deserts. Again, there was plenty of choice. There was a Kids Sweet corner which made my little boy very happy as he doesn't really like puddings but he does like sweets so this made his day. There's a selection of sweet dispensers where you can pay 50p to get some sweets. Lily also loved this corner but she had the kids unlimited Ice Cream to go with hers. It was lots of fun for the kids to be able to serve them selves.

For the grown ups, we went for the Cherry Cheescake and the Syrup Sponge which were both very lovely. We decided to share two puddings between us as we were all a little full from all the food we'd already eaten but we couldn't leave without trying some of them.

We had a lovely afternoon at The Malt Shovel and really enjoyed our time spent there. Everything was great, from the friendly staff to the relaxing decor. The delicious food and the sweet treat puddings. I think we'll definatley be going back soon as we enjoyed it so much.

If you're in the area, you should try it out and if you're not, you can always check out the Stonehouse Restaurants website online to see if there's one close to where you live.

Disclosure: We were invited to try the new menu for the purpose of this review. We received a discount off the total cost of our meal. All opinions expressed are 100% honest.

What will You buy this Year? Check out My Valentine's Day Gift Guide for Ideas.

What will You buy this Year?
Check out My Valentine's Day Gift Guide for Ideas.

Valentines Day is fast approaching and will soon be here. With just 14 days to go, do you know what you will be buying this year? I'm really rubbish at buying 'Romantic' gifts and always seem to get it wrong but not this year. This year, I'm determined to get it right.

I've found three gifts that I think would be perfect gifts this Valentines Day.  I've found something 'Romantic', something 'Cheap and Cheerful' and something a little 'Different'.

My something 'Cheap and Cheerful' is a lovely bottle of Chateau De Champteloup Crémant De Loire Rosé which will be going on sale at Aldi from February 4th for the fantastic price of just £7.99 for a 75cl bottle. The Well rounded and deliciously scented fruity fizz is a great alternative to champagne and can be enjoyed after sharing an indulgent Valentine’s Day dessert. This lovely bottle is just one of the bottles that will be available in their Valentines Day range so it might be worth popping into your local store on the 4th to see what other treats they have on the shelves or alternatively you can go online and see them all on there too. Bubbles always make the perfect Valentines Day treat for any lady.

My something 'Romantic' is this beautiful Personalised Romantic Mini Prosecco Gift Set which is just one of the many Personalised Valentines Gifts currently available from Gifts Online 4U. Com. It's a A romantic personalised prosecco gift set with an engraved message of your choice on a ‘I Love You’ design glass. It's a fantastic gift for any romantic occasion.

There are several Personalised Prosecco Gifts but this one was my favourite as it all comes in a beautifuly presented gift box and not only do you get a lovely bottle of Prosecco but you also get a gorgeous glass that you can keep forever. The personalisation is so lovely, you get to pick up to 80 characters which will get spread over 4 lines of writing too which means you can really write a lovely message for that special someone in your life. I wrote a message to myself to remind me of this years Valentines Day. The glass is so pretty.

This gift set will cost you £29.99 which is about what I would be looking to spend on a Valentines Day gift myself. It's not too cheap and not too expensive either. It's one of those gifts that will look like you've spent much more than you actually have which is great.

Last but no least I have my Something 'Different' which is the Oral-B Genius 9000 Orchid Purple Electric Toothbrush Powered By Braun. What says I love you more than a gorgeous girly toothbrush that's top of the range and is going to make brushing your teeth so much easier and so much more enjoyable. Yes, I know it's not your typical Valentines Day gift but it's a gift of love that any girl would enjoy. Not only is it really pretty in purple but it's useful and practical too. If I got this for Valentines Day, I'd be super happy. It's awesome!

This ones quite expensive as it will cost you a RRP of £280 but it's currently available for £140 in Boots at the moment but It'd let you treat her to the at-home-spa treatment for her teeth everyday, rejuvenating her smile. Why not bring the pampering home for her with the brand new Genius 9000 in Orchid Purple, providing the perfect balance between gentle brushing and superior cleaning through Oral-B’s sensitivity mode and the NEW Oral-B Sensi Ultra thin brush head. This brush is all about being tough on plaque yet gentle on the gums.

It features Oral-B’s most advanced brushing technology, including ‘Position-Detection Technology’ which actively monitors your brushing movements so you'll never miss a spot again, as well as personalised pressure-altering capabilities so you don’t brush your teeth too hard. This blend of caring for the gums, the right clean, and a design to create relaxation turns oral care into a spa experience at home making it the perfect Valentines Day gift.

So there you have it, the three gift ideas I'd love to receive this Valentines Day. I hope they've given you some gift inspiration and maybe some ideas of where to look when buying your gift this year. I'm sure what ever you decide on will be the perfect gift for you and your loved one if it comes from the heart as you know what they say, 'It's the thought that counts'.
