Win a Cadbury Heroes Treasure box
" We can be heroes, just for one day. "
I've been singing this song all week (It's been stuck in my head after hearing it on my TV).
It's a lovely song with a lovely meaning and it got me thinking, who's MY Hero?
I have lots of Hero's in my life for all different reasons, big and small but my biggest one would have to be my Mum, she's awesome! Last week we all went on a family holiday and I got to see just how awesome she really is. Not that I needed that reminder to see it.
This month I'm treating one of you lucky readers to this awesome Cadbury Heroes Treasure Box just because I want to remind you all that we can be heroes, even if for just one day.
It's really easy to enter, you can do so by using the Rafflecopter Form below:
Terms & Conditions: Open to the UK only. 1 winner will be drawn at random from all the correctly made entries on Sunday 24th April and will be contacted by the email they used to enter. I reserve the right to redraw if the winner does not claim in 28 days.

ReplyDeleteMy partner and carer, Lisa. I once won £1000 for her for being my hero. I wrote about the time she stopped the house from burning down. She really did too, I looked up to see a candle had fallen over, and in seconds the flames had leapt right up. She recognised my yelps as meaning, help - fire, and rushed through with a large pan of water. She cleaned all damage the next day, replaced the cracked windowpane, scraped down the window frame and repainted. What a star.

ReplyDeleteMy hero is my son! He amazes me every day. He has had such a difficult journey in life and he yet he comes though the other side shining every time. He had ASD/ADHD and has found it so hard to make and keep friends. No body wanted to be friends with the odd kid!! But he kept going and kept learning and kept growing. He is now 16 years old, and after being Home Educated for 10 years, he wanted to go to college. Thinking that kids at college would be different, he was looking forward to making friends, but he was still just that odd kid! But he didn't give in and stood up to the bullies and never let anyone put him down. He smiled even if he'd had a hard day, and knew that tomorrow would be another opportunity to make friends. Soon he came home and told me that him and the first kid that bullied him were now friends. I was dubious about this friendship, but apparently the bully had never had anyone stand up to him and answer him back and really he just wanted friends too. Then then there was another bully, but he stood up to them and now they are friends. Now, everyone in his class loves him, he has so many friends on social networks, is always getting calls or texts asking him to come out. This boy never believed he would ever have one friend, but now he makes people like him wherever he goes. I am so proud of him and the fact that he never gave up. He is my hero!!
