Peers Hardy Children's Watches #Review and #Competition

Peers Hardy Children's Watches
Review and Competition

Peers Hardy have a wonderful selection of children's watches for you this Christmas. They have so many well known and loved characters like Hello Kitty, Moshi Monsters and Mr Men. Having two girls of watch using age I chose two beautiful watches, each to suit their own personality. For Chloe my eldest who is almost 11 I chose a stunning Hello Kitty watch.

It's pink enough for any little princess in training but has a tough leather strap for durability. This pretty pink watch has a cute Hello Kitty picture in the middle of the dial and just simple numbers around the edges. I really love the little charm attached to it, it's very beautiful.

It comes in a cute see through package all ready to be the perfect gift this Christmas. These gorgeous Hello Kitty watches are available from: Debenhams, H Samuel, Fenwick Newcastle and Bentalls Kingston.

My daughter Lily who's 6 is still learning to tell the time by herself so I chose a cute little Tikkers watch that has helpful hints around the dial making time telling simpler.

Again it's a pretty pink watch but this time it has a easy to adjust velcro strap which is much better for growing girls. I really love the duo of pinks and the easy to read dial, my Lily is going to love her new watch when Santa delivers it this Christmas. Again it comes in a lovely case making it an easy to wrap gift. It's a gorgeous little watch, it really is. Tikkers watches are available from: John Lewis, H Samuel, Debenhams, Fenwick Newcastle and Bentalls Kingston.

How would YOU like to win yourself one of two gorgeous Peers Hardy childrens watches?

I have got two fabulous watches up for grab today. There's a cute Hello Kitty sparkly girls watch and a cool alien themed boys watch. If you would like to win one of these watches simply use the RaffleCopter Form below to enter: Please give it a few seconds to load as it can be slow at times. This giveaway is open to the UK only and 2 winners will be drawn at random on Sunday December 8th at random from all the correct entries - Good Luck.

Christmas Day My Way! #Poem x

All I Want For Christmas Is You...

Three little monkeys love climbing trees
They light up my life and make me believe
I believe in joy and hope and love
My little monkeys were sent from above.

EVERY Christmas I counts my blessings
We share a meal with all the dressings
We do all the normal traditional things
We enjoy the happiness this day brings.

Excitement takes over and laughter fills the room
We wipe away tears and lock away gloom
Christmas is our time, our time together
This way we'll stay, hopefully FOREVER.

Presents are a bonus, something nice to share
But Christmas is so much more like showing that you care
Hugs and Kisses, I Love You's
Little things that last the whole year through.

This Christmas I ask for one thing
Just one thing that Santa can't bring
Good health and Happiness, lots of love and cheer
Enough to last past Christmas and take us through the year.

I love my little monkeys, they mean the world to me
Christmas wouldn't be the same without them you see
They are the heart of Christmas, their smiles and faces show all
As long as we're all together, I know we'll have a ball.

All I want for Christmas is a peaceful, happy day
Time to reflect and watch my monkeys play
As long as we're together I know that I can say
No matter what happens - we'll have the best possible day!

Merry Christmas! This post is my entry into the Tots100/Argos 12 Days of Christmas competition.

Fireman Sam Advent Puzzle #Review

Fireman Sam Advent Puzzle - Jumbo Games

This Christmas why not treat your Fireman Sam fans to a festive Advent Calendar and Puzzle all in one from Jumbo Games. I've never seen anything like this before so I was very excited to get a closer look. This beautifully boxed puzzle has 24 pieces and is aimed at children 3 and over. Each piece has an advent calendar window in the middle with a picture hidden behind.

The pieces are a nice size, perfect for small hands to get a grip of.  They're brightly painted and make a wonderful Pontypandy Christmas scene once all put together.

I really love the idea of this advent calendar and puzzle all in one but in practice there was one thing I didn't like and that was the puzzle once made is a lot bigger than the box so there's no where to keep it safe on the count up to Christmas. I would have liked it if the box had been the same size so that I could have stored it back in it. Once the puzzle is made, it's quite big meaning in my small house I don't really have the space to leave it out for the next month. It's a lovely puzzle and a great advent calendar but sadly I've had to put it back in the box for now until I find a place I can leave it out. If you have a lots of space then you needn't worry like me.

I scored this Fireman Sam Advent Puzzle a 2/5. I really like the puzzle but the advent calendar part won't be suitable for us as there's just no where safe to leave it out flat sadly.

Disclosure: We received our advent puzzle for free for the purpose of this review but that doesn't affect our opinions expressed. My reviews are always 100% honest.

Christmas Gift Ideas: Including The Beano and Tickety Tock #Review

Christmas Gift Ideas: Including
The Beano and Tickety Tock

Christmas is now less than 6 weeks away - Eeek! Every year I always say "This year I'm going to start early and be organised!" but it never actually happens, I guess I just enjoy that last minute rush too much. I know it's not December yet and some people hate hearing the big C word before then but for those who are being organised this year, I thought I'd share a few small gift ideas with you. I'm sure we will have some The Beano or Tickety Tock fans out there.

The Beano A5 Collage Journal ( £9.95) which is available from the Bloomsbury Store and the Beano Annual ( £7.99) would make great little stocking fillers for all the Beano fans out there. They're fun and character filled making them the perfect gifts. I know my eldest daughter is going to love them, she loves to read comics and loves to scribble in her journal.

This gorgeous Dennis the Menace Scribble T Shirt (£16.00) from Fabric Flavours could be what you're looking for. Made from top quality marl fabric that’s been pre-washed for extra softness, and featuring Dennis’s mischievous mug on the front, it’s just what’s required for some serious pranking!  Dennis’s face is appliquéd slap bang in the centre, with his spiky hair brought to life in soft black towelling. 'Menace' is embroidered below in white and his favourite saying; 'I can explain everything!' is printed in the back neck.  The red and grey striped t-shirt features a ribbed neck, striped neck tape and black ‘grin’ stitching along the sleeves and hemline.  And where would Dennis be without his grinning canine sidekick?  To make this t-shirt extra special, you’ll even find a badge of Gnasher appliquéd on the sleeve.

Tickety Toc Mystery Time ( £4.99) is available from all good bookshops and is one of my personal faves. I love hard books as they seem to last much longer in my house! The illustrations are bright and very engaging. The story is fun and easy to follow, I know my little man would love to find this is his stocking on Christmas morning.

Last but not least is the Dick Bruna’s Christmas Book (£10) which is a beautiful book with the sweetest little Angel Bookmark attached inside. This book is the perfect way to share the true story of Christmas with your little ones. It's available from all good bookshops, a definite one to read I think. I'm sure we'll be reading this one a few times before the big day arrives.

I shall be sharing a few more gift idea posts over the next few months and reading lots of other people's too. Christmas is on it's way weather we like it or not. (I'm excited of course).

Kiddu Lane Car Seat - Wayfair #Review

Kiddu Lane Car Seat

Yippee, my gorgeous little man has finally got a new big boy car seat and it's all thanks to the wonderful people over at Wayfair. They really saved the day this time! A few weeks back the car seat we were using sadly broke, well it was around 10 years old so it had lasted well. Little man was so excited to be getting a big boy car seat, he'd now be able to sit upright and see out of the window easier whilst looking pretty cool at the same time.

The Kiddü Lane car seat synchronises both style and safety seamlessly. It's easy-to-fit and lightweight as the Kiddü Lane seat loves to travel. The sumptuous pillows provide all the comfort your child needs for both long and short journeys. The Kiddü Lane grows with you and your child from 9 months to approximately 11 years. It's hand-washable covers, height adjustable headrest and the ability to convert into a booster seat makes for the ultimate versatile option. It's price is pretty impressive too, it's just £60.13 and you get free delivery.

It's made from breathable mesh fabric materials and has a easy to adjust headrest. It has the five point safety harness with foam shoulder pads for added comfort, these can be removed if not needed. There's great side impact protection and this seat easily converts into a booster seat for when your child grows old enough to use one. It's forward facing and has detachable, washable covers. It's Universal fitting (with 3-point safety belt) and meets safety standard ECE R44/04. It's suitable for all children aged 9 months to 11 years. 9-36kg (Groups 1, 2 and 3).

The Kiddu Lane Car Seat comes in practically one piece when you take it out of the box, you just need to click the top part and bottom part together to complete it's set up. It's really quick and easy to do, even I managed it. Your car seat is literally ready to use within minutes after removing it from it's box which is what us busy mums like to see. Ryan loves his new seat, he couldn't wait to try it out as you can see from the pictures. We hadn't even got the seat into the car and he was already sitting in it shouting "strap me in" bless him.

Our seat is black with red which Ryan loves, it does look pretty smart I do have to say. For the price, I think it's a fantastic buy. You're getting a safe, easy to use, great looking car seat that will last your child for years and will grow and change as they do. I really couldn't ask for any more from a car seat, it's perfect for us. It fits nicely into the car and now makes Ryan's car journey so much more fun and safer than they were when he was in his old seat.

Here at Mummy Of 3 Diaries we're loving the Kiddu Lane Car Seat and would definately recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a new one soon, it's fab. It gets a well deserved 5/5 from me and a huge thumbs up from my little man Ryan.

Check out’s assorted Children’s items, where you can find this car seat, and other assorted items for home and for play.

Shloer Celebration Pink Fizz #Review

Shloer Celebration Pink Fizz

Shloer has long been a popular alcohol-free drink of choice for those looking to indulge in a glass of something special. I know I enjoy a glass or two when I'm not in the mood to drink something stronger. With the launch of Celebration, Shloer will top the shopping lists of those hosting the most sophisticated of parties. So even if you are not drinking, you can still enjoy a sense of occasion and sip on a tall glass of chilled bubbles. The new range comes in two delicious flavours made from sparkling grape juice; so whether you are a glamorous white-grape girl or more of a blushing rosé lady, you can celebrate in style. I'm definitely a rose lady.

The Shloer Celebration Pink Fizz is a fresh and fruity combination with the vibrant flavours of red and white grape juices fused together to create a beautiful sparkling rosé juice drink. It's so fresh and fruity tasting and jam packed full of bubbles, it's truly delicious.

With Christmas and New Year just around the corner, Shloer Celebration is the perfect alcohol-free bubbly to get the party started and for just £2.99 a bottle you can afford to go overboard and buy a few.  Whether you're catching up with the girls, toasting a new engagement or sharing a special family announcement, why not add a touch of novel sophistication and keep the bubbles flowing with Shloer Celebration.

I've been a Shloer fan for years, I've always loved their fruity flavours and have to say they have really outdone themselves this time. I'm in love with their new Celebration Pink Fizz, it's sensational. Popping the cork really does make drinking it feel so much more special, it's got all the bubbles and the taste of champagne just without the alcohol content which is great for us mums who fancy a nice glass of something bubbly.

Have you tried it yet? I'd love to know what you think.

Post-it Index ... How Do You Use Yours?

Post-it Index ... How Do You Use Yours?

A recent survey by Post-it Index found that 83 per cent of women have to flag up articles on a weekly basis, as they're just too busy to read them properly at the time.

60 per cent of those surveyed have folded a corner over only to come back later and find it unfolded, losing their page. With Christmas such a busy time for mums, we want to know how you use Index around the home. So whether you use them to mark that amazing offer a Christmas magazine or earmarking your nearest grotto, we want to know.

Post-it Index come in different sizes, shapes and colours. They're really fun and easy to use. They're so quick to pop on and even quicker to take off which is great for us busy mums.

My main use for Post-Index tabs is as pretty little coloured bookmarks, they're the perfect little things to save your pages when you're in a hurry and need to come back to something at a later point.  The smaller arrow shaped Index tabs are perfect for highlighting smaller areas of interest. I used mine to highlight key sentences or phrases that I want to find again in a hurry or lines of text that I intended to share with others.

I used my Post-it Index tabs to save important dates in my diary whilst my kids have been using them to save pages in the Argos catalogue marking the Christmas toys they would like this year. Both of which are very useful ideas, but what else could you do with them? We've been having a little play with our index tabs and made ourselves some new nails and even some funny faces. Life's too short to be so serious, so we had a little fun with ours.

Post-it Index have so many uses, I couldn't possibly name them all. Some are very practical and some not so but all of which are simple, easy and fun. Whether you want to get seriously organised or just keep pretty coloured reminders, Post-it Index are the perfect way to do it.

For more fun uses check out the Post-it UK Facebook Page.

We were sent a selection of Post-it Index tabs for the purpose of this post. All the opinions expressed are 100% my own and not influenced by this fact.

Graham & Brown’s ‘Room in a Box' #Review

Graham & Brown’s ‘Room in a Box'

Graham & Brown have come up with an lovely idea to help us parents give our children the bedrooms that they want and they've made it easy for us too. You can now buy a 'Room in a Box' which is a box that contains everything you'll need to decorate your childs room and it's available in several different designs.

The Disney Cars room in a box is the ideal solution for any Disney Cars fan. It has everything you need for creating a feature wall with the ‘Cars racetrack’ wallpaper and the co-ordinating accessories which include wall stickers and matching box art. It’s a great and easy way to decorate your children’s bedroom and with a fantastic saving of £37 if you were to buy the items individually. There are two different levels of box that you can buy: basic and premium.

The Basic Box includes: 3 x Cars racetrack wallpaper 1 x paste 1 x Cars set of 3 box art 1 x Cars mini push light 1 x Cars foam door name plate 1 x Cars wall stickers.

Premium Box includes: 3 x Cars racetrack wallpaper 2 x Cars border 1 x paste 1 x Cars Go Lightning paint 1 x Cars set of 3 box art 1 x Cars mini push light 1 x Cars foam door name plate 1 x Cars wall stickers 1 x Cars maxi sticker 1 x Cars magnetic canvas.

Last week we were sent a Premium Disney Cars Room in a Box for us to have a look at. My little man is currently sharing a room which makes it hard for us to decorate it with just him in mind so we decided to find an owner who would love it and need it. We've got some new neighbours who have two lovely little boys so I approached them to see if they needed any help decorating. They were overwhelmed by my offer but gratefully accepted it which I am so pleased about. There is now two little boys very excited about the new Disney Cars bedroom they will soon have. It might take a few weeks for me to show you their finished room so for now let me show you what you get in the box for your money while we wait.

I was pleasantly surprised with the contents of the box, they really have thought of everything. The wallpaper is bright and clearly printed with Disneys Cars characters  the red paint makes a nice feature wall colour and the wall stickers look amazing. The little night light is a very nice added touch too, I'm sure any little Cars fan would love this for their own room.

The Room in a Box is a wonderful idea, I'm very excited to see how my new neighbour's little boys room turns out. As soon as they've finished decorating it I will be able to show you all, I'm sure they will love it though. What's not to love? Be sure to look out for my follow up post which should be ready in a few short weeks hopefully.

Have A night in with the girls For Cancer Research UK

Have A night in with the girls For Cancer Research UK

Forget fighting your way to the dance floor, queuing for the toilet, or standing in the cold waiting for the bus home. This November, thousands of women across the country will be saying ‘I'm In’ as they get together for ‘The IN Thing’, Cancer Research UK’s new fundraising initiative that combines a great night in with the girls with a great cause.

Cancer Research UK has teamed up with some of the UK’s best talent including TV and radio broadcaster Edith Bowman, model and designer Twiggy and actress and dancer Camilla Dallerup to help you organise your ultimate night in, with inspirational ideas, party planning guides, delicious recipes and playlists. So whether you're catching up on the couch, hosting a dinner party, or dusting off that old karaoke machine, you'll have all the support you need to create an unforgettable night for all your friends.

The IN Thing is the perfect excuse to get together while raising money for Cancer Research UK’s life saving work.  Hosts can set a fundraising target for their group and collect donations upfront or on the night. Invite friends, family, neighbours and colleagues and indulge in a fun event at home to help  beat cancer sooner.

Three reasons why in is the new out this November:

Life is busy, so this is the perfect excuse to make time for you and your besties!
It’s pre-Christmas party season so make the most of staying in while you can.
Strictly Come Dancing and X-Factor are both on TV providing the perfect background to any girlie catch up.

Cancer Research UK’s The IN Thing runs from 1st – 30th November.
Be part of The IN Thing along with thousands of women across the UK, and help beat cancer sooner.  Find out more at

My 5 favourite reasons to have a Girlie In Thing would be:

1 - I get to have all my girls together in one place at one time which is great.
2 - Instead of spending money on getting into places, expensive meals and over priced drinks we can all enjoy a cheap and cheerful takeaway and shop bought drinks.
3 - It's getting cold out there so a night in would be perfect!
4 - Men never want to watch romantic movies so a girls night in means a soppy romance fest!
5 - Face packs and manicures are a must for any night in, so why not do it for a great cause.

What's your favourite reason for having a girls night in?

Add A Little Festive Cheer To Your Home And Handbag With Kleenex This Christmas

Add A Little Festive Cheer To Your Home And Handbag
With Kleenex This Christmas

This year it’s not just glistening tinsel and twinkling fairy lights that will show off your festive spirit. Kleenex Winter Originals are a stylish, fun and practical addition to your decorations this Christmas with three new festive designs: a jolly Santa, a cheeky penguin and an adorable Robin. Containing the same soft, strong and quality tissues that you have come to know and love from Kleenex, the new designs are perfect for adding some Christmas cheer to a coffee table or work desk, mopping up an egg-nog spillage, or for wiping away food crumbs when sneaking a piece of turkey stuffing on Christmas Day.

Be sure to keep a pack or box nearby to help you cope with all the little tissue moments this winter.

The Kleenex Winter Originals boxes and pocket packs will be available from mid-October in selected stockists whilst stocks last.

Everyone needs tissues with all the winter sniffles and sneezes around, well I know my family does. These festive delights are so cute, my kids each have a packet in their pocket for school today which they are very pleased about. I have got a box on our dining table and another in the sitting room, it's tissues at the ready in my house. Kleenex tissues have always been my favourite choice of tissues as they're always soft and kind to your nose just when you need it. I really love these new cute christmas packs, they're the perfect family treat this year.

We were sent some samples to try out for the purpose of this review (lucky us) Our opinions expressed though are not affected by this and are 100% our own.
