mOmma by Lansinoh is the latest move in Lansinoh’s quest to expand its product line to meet the needs of parents and their developing babies.
The range of stylish products from Italy is purposefully designed to encourage your baby’s development. By thoughtfully combining shape, movement and colour, mOmma products transform each moment of a baby’s meal into a time of growth, learning and fun.
Each product is specially designed to entertain and stimulate, as well as encourage your child to become more self-assured and independent.
Innovative rocking movements and round shapes engage your little one and capture their attention, while different textures, colours and shapes trigger their curiosity, encouraging them to explore their surroundings.
What’s more, mOmma helps make mealtime easier for you too. While the products rock, they will always remain upright and protective covers ensure optimum hygiene while on-the-go.
With a distinctive look – the result of innovative and modern Italian design – the extensive mOmma range combines function and beauty, for mums looking for a quality, well-crafted brand.
Ryan received a selection of gorgeous mOmma products for this review. Take a look at what he got:
A Developmental Warm Meal Set which included a Warm Plate and placemat, Soft Spoon and Rocking Fork. On first impressions, they look great. Bright and colourful with a real unique approach to babies mealtimes.
With the same rocking movement that children adore and keeps products hygienic, comes the mOmma Soft Spoon, for children aged six months and above, and the mOmma Rocking Fork, for eight months and older. The spoon is soft and extra gentle on your baby’s gums while the fork has rounded prongs for greater safety. The protective cover can be flipped to become an extendable handle to help you feed your baby and ensures cleanliness when on-the-go.
Because mOmma knows mealtimes never go as planned, their Warm Plate and Placemat keep your baby’s food warm and prevent spills and waste. The plate’s non-slip and non-flip technology gives parents peace of mind while the placemat – with its soft touch and easy to clean surface – is perfect for rowdy mealtimes. Ryan had great fun playing with his new Rocking Fork and Spoon as you can see below.
Ryan really did try hard to use them. The concentration on his face was so amusing for me to watch. I really wanted to step in and help him but he needs to learn to feed himself. He's 19 months old now and growing up into such a wonderful young man. The Fork and Spoon were nicely shaped so that they fit easily into little mouths. The colours are very attractive to the eye which is always a good thing and the Rocking bases are very amusing but a little on the big side. They would be perfect for babies starting out but as Ryan has been using big boy cutlery for a while now he found these quite big to hold.
Unfortunately the novelty wore off pretty quick and before I knew it he had figured out that the big round bases were great for doing this with:
I love the design of these and the ideas behind them are great. I just don't think that these are suited very well for my Ryan. The Warming Bowl and Placemat we will definitely be using again but I'm sad to say the Rocking Fork and Spoon won't. He spend so much time crushing his food, he hardly ate a thing. Ryan's a typical boy and if he can find a way to mess with something, he will.
Here at Mummy Of 3 Diaries I gave the momma Mealtime range a 3/5. The colours are great and the prices are not too bad but I'm not sure how practical the big based cutlery really is. It's a great idea but in practise it did get a little messy as Ryan thought they were more like toys than eating aids.
Have you used any of the mOmma products before? I'd love to know how you got on if you have.
