Aveeno - Managing Dry Skin

 Aveeno - Managing Dry Skin

1 in 5 mums of children with eczema spend between 100 and 400 hours a year managing their child’s condition.

ECZEMA IN NUMBERS: 1 in 5 (21%)* mums of children with eczema surveyed spend between 2 and 8 hours per week managing their child’s eczema symptoms – this equates to up to 400 hours per year!

With an extra...

100 hours – mums could take 50 trips to the cinema.
200 hours – mums could watch 400 episodes of their favourite TV series.
400 hours – mums could have 8 weekends away with the family .
400 hours equates to 10 working weeks each year!

In a survey of healthcare professionals 2/3 of dermatology professionals surveyed agreed that their patients preferred AVEENO products. In a study conducted by NetDoctor 74% of people  expressed a preference for AVEENO Cream over their previous dry skin products.
AVEENO products contain naturally active finely-milled oatmeal which is clinically proven to restore the epidermal barrier,3,4 (the top layer of skin). The skin is thus able to retain moisture and keep out potential irritants more effectively. Oats have long been known for their soothing and anti-irritant action, with oat proteins leaving a protective barrier on the skin which prevents water loss and maintains moisture.

AVEENO Cream is clinically proven to soothe and relieve dry, eczema-prone skin from day one – bringing relief to the sufferer and leading to an improvement in skin condition and appearance.
AVEENO products are non-greasy and easily absorbed which contributes to a strong patient preference for the range. MANAGING DRY SKIN WITH THE AVEENO Emollient range Emollients are moisturisers which come in the form of creams, ointments, lotions and gels. They help skin to feel more comfortable and less itchy, keeping the skin moist and flexible to help prevent cracks. Healthcare professionals recommend that patients with dry or eczema-prone skin should follow a daily skincare routine of Complete Emollient Therapy (CET).

This involves using a combination of both moisturising and cleansing products daily to help return moisture to very dry and eczema-prone skin. These products can include emollient creams, lotions and ointments for moisturising and various soap substitute products for bathing and showering. MANAGING DRY SKIN The AVEENO Emollient range is designed to help in the management of very dry skin and is also suitable for people who are prone to eczema. CLEANSING with emollient washes, baths or oils MOISTURISING with emollient creams, lotions or ointments.

I swear by Aveeno, I have three children myself, 1 of which has severe eczema which can be hard to control. Over the years I have learned that not all moisturisers will work on dry skin, but I find Aveeno works really well. It's one of my all time favourite creams ever! My Mum has been using it for years and suggested that I try it, I've never looked back since. It's rich and creamy and really does moisturise your skin without any irritation or unwanted reactions.  I've tried so many different brands but I always come back to Aveeno as it's the best for us, no redness, no more dryness, just naturally soft skin.

Mummy Of 3 Diaries loves using Aveeno.

I was sent some Aveeno samples for the purpose of this review but my reviews are 100% honest and the opinions expressed completely my own. I but Aveeno already so we really are Aveeno users and lovers.
